Two males have been arrested Wednesday after the Auburn, Ala., Police Division interrupted a housebreaking within the four hundred block of North School Road, police stated Thursday.
The suspects have been recognized as Jarontavious M. Griffin, 19, of Lanett, and Ja’Namar D. Lanier, 25, of Auburn. Every is charged with housebreaking third diploma and held within the Lee County Jail. Bond for Griffin was set at $three,000 whereas Lanier has a bond of $20,250.
Auburn police got descriptions of two suspects fleeing in a car from a residence as police responded to a housebreaking about 1 p.m. An officer noticed a car occupied by two males and matching the suspect car.
The officer stopped the car and took Griffin into custody. An investigation continued to determine the second suspect. Officers have been at a residence when he fled on foot. Lanier , who was recognized because the suspect who entered the sufferer’s residence, was taken into custody after a quick chase .
Police stated no property was taken in the course of the housebreaking try. Lanier is also accused of burglaries and thefts that occurred on Jan. 31 and Feb. eleven on North Debardeleben Road and Forest Park Circle. A gun, assorted electronics, and money with a complete worth of greater than $2,four hundred have been taken in these incidents.
Lanier might face further expenses.
